Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in financial reporting, controlling, management accounting, FP&A, business analysis, or finance-related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial, management, and performance reports for Lufthansa Group stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data and business performance indicators to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Design and develop innovative reporting solutions using modern BI and analytics platforms.
• Support the development and optimization of reporting structures, data models, and data flows.
• Ensure high quality, consistency, and accuracy of financial information.
• Collaborate with controlling, finance, and business units across Lufthansa Group.
• Act as a trusted partner for internal customers by understanding business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Drive projects independently and coordinate reporting-related improvements.
• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.

As a Senior Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and management reporting for Lufthansa Group stakeholders. You will work with large volumes of financial data, develop advanced reporting solutions, and support business decision-making through insightful analyses and innovative reporting approaches.

Tasks

• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial, management, and performance reports for Lufthansa Group stakeholders

• Analyze financial data and business performance indicators to provide actionable insights and support decision-making
• Design and develop innovative reporting solutions using modern BI and analytics platforms
• Support the development and optimization of reporting structures, data models, and data flows
• Ensure high quality, consistency, and accuracy of financial information
• Collaborate with controlling, finance, and business units across Lufthansa Group
• Act as a trusted partner for internal customers by understanding business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial reporting, controlling, management accounting, FP&A, business analysis, or finance-related reporting

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Objects, or similar)
• SAP/BW knowledge
• Understanding of controlling processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with international stakeholders
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
