Job summary

BNY seeks a Senior Specialist for SOX Control & Compliance in Wroclaw, Poland. The role supports SOX and ICFR execution, providing reliable control documentation, walkthrough support, testing activities, issue tracking, and evidence management.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes, document changes, and ensure a strong financial controls environment across assigned areas. A strong background in controls testing and finance is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of internal controls and financial reporting risk.
• Ability to document processes clearly and perform testing with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute SOX and ICFR testing in line with approved methodology and timelines.
• Refresh process narratives, risk/control matrices, and flowcharts for processes.
• Participate in walkthroughs with owners to capture process changes accurately.
• Test design and operating effectiveness of key controls and document results.
• Track evidence requests and maintain organised records for audit readiness.
