Job summary

GGS IT Consulting in Kraków is seeking a skilled automation engineer to join our growing Automation Team. You’ll enhance client systems, build new solutions, and create entirely new products using low-code platforms and AI.

The role blends business-oriented responsibilities with deep technical work; you’ll analyze processes, document requirements, design automation plans, and drive PoC and full production rollouts.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on software development.
Experience analyzing business needs and documenting requirements.
Familiarity with BPMN/UML.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with automation or low-code tools.
Excellent English (min B2) and strong communication.
Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Job Description

In this role, you will join our growing Automation Team. You’ll be involved in three main areas:

Enhancing clients’ existing systems

Building new systems based on existing solutions

Creating entirely new systems or products

A thorough understanding of the client’s technical environment and the ability to propose comprehensive solutions are essential. Since this position blends both business-oriented responsibilities and in-depth technical work, if you enjoy tackling both aspects, we’d love to have you on board!

What you'll do:

Analyzing business needs and processes, gathering and documenting requirements;

Developing automation plans and strategies;

Designing and implementing proof-of-concept solutions, followed by full production rollouts;

Designing IT solutions based on various technologies including low-code platforms and AI;

Creating and modeling solutions, data structures, business processes, algorithms and user interfaces using visual tools

Qualifications

Required skills & experience:

Solid understanding of IT technology
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development using backend or frontend technologies
Experience in analyzing business needs and processes, as well as gathering and documenting requirements
Familiarity with process flow frameworks (BPMN, UML)
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Application development using business process automation or low-code tools.
Very good command of English (min. B2);
Very good communication skills;
Professional approach to work, a strong sense of responsibility to the Client;
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with some of the automation or low code technologies (e.g., Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Query, Python, Power Automate, Power BI, UiPath, Oracle Apex)
