Job summary

GGS IT Consulting is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable data foundations by integrating data from multiple legacy and modern systems. You will focus on building core data infrastructure, developing data-driven solutions, and connecting data with AI for analytics, automation, and AI-based use cases.

The role involves working with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Python and SQL, and close collaboration with international clients.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• SQL programming knowledge (expert).
• Python or other programming language knowledge.
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
• Experience in GIT.
• English knowledge (C1) is a must- both spoken and written (working with international clients).
• High communication skills – consulting approach.
• Teamwork skills, good organization, planning, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, priorities, and technical requirements.
• Leading requirements-gathering sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution-design meetings with customers.
• Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations.
• Designing data models, databases, and data warehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements.
• Developing data processing solutions using Python and SQL and/or other technologies.
• Gathering requirements from customers.
• Proposing business solutions for customers’ needs.

Job Description

As a Data Solutions Architect, you will work on projects focused on combining data from multiple legacy and modern systems into one reliable, scalable data foundation. The goal is to support better analytics, reporting, automation, and AI-based solutions using modern data platforms. You will be responsible for designing and creating solutions for complex client needs.

You’ll work across three key areas:

• Building Core Data Infrastructure – designing scalable data integration layers, pipelines, data models, and data warehouses.
• Developing Data-Driven Solutions – creating backend logic and data-focused applications that support business processes and decision-making.
• Connecting Data with AI – preparing and integrating data to power AI and machine learning use cases.

Detailed duties

• Working directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, priorities, and technical requirements;
• Leading requirements-gathering sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution-design meetings with customers;
• Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake;
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations;
• Designing data models, databases, and data warehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements;
• Developing data processing solutions using Python and SQL and/or other technologies;
• Gathering requirements from customers;
• Proposing business solutions for customers’ needs;
• Preparing a necessary technical specification;
• Planning next releases, scoping the implementation;
• Working closely with team members and managing code review;
• Solving the issues with the existing architecture and delivery process;
• Working closely with customers, communicating project status, raising risks.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• SQL programming knowledge (expert);
• Python or other programming language knowledge;
• Experience in working with data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake;
• Experience in GIT;
• Experience in designing ETL processes and software implementation;

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or GCP;
• Experience in AI implementation.
