Invia CEE x Travelplanet.pl x Wakacje.pl is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end architectural coverage across systems and journey steps in a travel tech platform. You will set architectural direction, document decisions, and ensure adoption through architecture boards, ADRs, and living docs while collaborating with product, commercial, and operations teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with architectural focus.
3+ years in an architecture or principal engineering role across multiple teams.
Proven track record owning end-to-end architecture for cross-cutting domains.
Experience designing distributed systems at scale and API design.
Ability to produce living architectural documentation (C4, ADRs, ERDs, diagrams).
Experience enforcing engineering standards across multiple teams with measurable adoption.
Strong ability to engage non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into tech requirements.
Familiarity with frontend patterns (React, SSR, Next.js, BFF).

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture of an assigned system or customer journey step.
Maintain current-state assessment, target architecture, and a sequenced, costed roadmap.
Produce and keep current architectural documentation (C4, ADRs, ERDs, sequence diagrams).
Sit on the Architecture Board as the named decision authority for the slice.
Lead vendor and technology evaluations with documented rationale.
Treat AI as a design ingredient and inventory AI components and risks.
Engage with product, commercial, and operations to translate business intent.
Enforce engineering standards and serve as DRI for at least one standard.
Define SLIs and SLOs for the slice; coordinate with adjacent Architects.
Teach architectural patterns and AI guidelines across the organisation.
Provide input on architecture decisions; not responsible for delivery timelines.
