Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer (Development) to design, build, test, and support scalable warehouse and logistics solutions across global platforms. Qualifications

• Experience with Blue Yonder WMS MOCA framework in SaaS deployments and custom development.
• Proficient in APIs, SQL, system integrations, CI/CD practices, and SDLC with Agile methods.
• Strong software engineering skills: debugging, performance optimization, secure coding, and problem solving.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders in an international environment.
• Logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain familiarity; KN SwiftLOG/cloud/SaaS/DevOps familiarity is a plus.

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement scalable solutions that support warehouse and logistics operations across our global technology landscape. Working with Blue Yonder WMS (MOCA, SaaS) and KN SwiftLOG, you will combine software engineering, solution design, stakeholder management, and technical leadership to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This position offers the opportunity to work on business-critical logistics platforms within a collaborative international environment focused on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

As a Senior Solution Engineer (Development), you will take ownership of designing, building, testing, and supporting technical solutions for global warehouse and logistics platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Besides development, you will contribute to solution architecture, technical governance, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for quality, performance, and security.

How you create impact

• Design, develop, configure, and implement scalable solutions within Blue Yonder WMS (MOCA, SaaS) and KN SwiftLOG platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional and technical requirements into robust solution designs
• Support the full Software Development Life Cycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare
• Develop integrations, APIs, and data flows while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and coding standards
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide L2/L3 support during stabilization
• Monitor application performance, optimize system reliability, and drive technical improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and engineering best practices
• Contribute to governance, security, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the global engineering organization

What we would like you to bring

• Strong experience with Blue Yonder WMS (MOCA framework, SaaS), including custom development, configuration, and integrations
• Experience with APIs, SQL, system integrations, CI/CD practices, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong software engineering skills with experience in debugging, performance optimization, secure coding, and technical problem solving
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders in an international environment
• Experience within logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain systems is highly desirable; familiarity with KN SwiftLOG, cloud/SaaS environments, or DevOps practices is considered an advantage
