Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Solution Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex contract logistics solutions for key customers in Europe. You will translate client requirements into commercially competitive, operationally efficient and scalable logistics concepts.

Based in Warsaw (preferred), you will own end-to-end solution design from concept through implementation, working across commercial, operations, engineering, automation and implementation teams to deliver value

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Solution Design, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Design, or Industrial Engineering in a contract logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, distribution networks, fulfilment processes, and value-added services.
• Experience designing solutions for multi-client and dedicated warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate operational solutions into financial value.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and logistics modelling tools.
• Experience with warehouse design software, simulation tools, AutoCAD, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end warehouse and contract logistics solutions for strategic customer opportunities.
• Analyse customer requirements, operational data, and supply chain processes to develop innovative logistics concepts.
• Create warehouse layouts, material flow designs, resource models, and storage strategies.
• Develop operational and financial business cases, including cost models and pricing assumptions.
• Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, engineering, automation, and implementation teams throughout the solution development process.
• Lead solution design workshops with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate automation technologies, warehouse systems, and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
• Support tender responses, customer presentations, and solution pitches.
• Conduct capacity planning, throughput analysis, productivity modelling, and network optimisation exercises.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement objectives.
• Support the implementation and transition of newly awarded business into operations.
