Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Poland seeks a Project Manager - Solution Engineer for Contract Logistics. You will lead end‑to‑end development and implementation of logistics solutions, from solution design and costing to customer presentation and full project delivery, blending technical engineering with project management.

You will assemble cross‑functional teams, create layouts and processes, prepare cost models and business cases, and support sales through acquisition and implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in project management and solution design.
• Strong analytical and process‑oriented mindset with data translation ability.
• Experience in cost calculations, financial modelling, and business cases.
• PM experience leading interdisciplinary teams and delivering complex implementations.
• Very good practical knowledge of MS Office; CAD tools and calculation tools are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management in customer‑facing situations.
• Fluent in English and Polish; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for long‑term project assignments across Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored logistics solutions based on customer requirements, RFQ data, and tender documentation.
• Analyze complex data structures to identify dependencies and design scalable processes.
• Create warehouse layouts, process flows, and infrastructure concepts using calculation tools and CAD tools.
• Prepare cost calculations, pricing models, and business cases for new solutions.
• Present solutions to internal stakeholders and customers, supporting sales during acquisition and implementation.
• Lead or coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and align sub‑projects for go‑live.
• Identify risks, manage timelines and deliverables, and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and document reports and analyses.
• Support operations by translating data into practical solutions and driving continuous improvement.
