Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, is expanding its Altium 365 R&D team with a Senior Backend Developer. You will design and build backend services for cloud-native platforms, focusing on scalable multi-tenant architectures and robust data processing.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing backend services and APIs.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, and RDS.
• Understanding of microservices and multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with distributed systems and production cloud environments.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, Backend, your primary focus will be developing complex cloud applications as part of the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Experience designing and developing backend services and APIs.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with distributed systems and production cloud environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET
• Experience modernizing or integrating complex enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of high-load systems, performance optimization, or cloud observability.
• Experience with Firebird database.
