Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a highly experienced Software Subject Matter Expert in Warsaw. The role focuses on gathering business needs, translating them into robust technical designs, and delivering secure, scalable solutions across the software lifecycle.

The candidate should possess 10+ years of relevant experience, a minimum of higher education, and a B2 level English proficiency. Expect engagement with complex information systems, IT security standards, and EU regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience related to the job.
• English level: B2 confirmed by a certificate or willingness to take the exam.
• Excellent knowledge of the subject at the design/architecture/implementation level.
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and lifecycle phases, including SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and assessing business needs related to the subject.
• Translating business requirements into optimal technical designs and solutions.
• Implementing technical solutions in the area of expertise.
• Proposing and implementing improvements related to the subject.
• Maintaining up-to-date solution documentation (technical docs, SOPs, user manuals, knowledge base).
• If applicable, managing the solution through the full service/software development lifecycle.
• Other duties as assigned by the team lead
