Job summary

Splunk is seeking a technical leader to help deliver the User & Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) solution within Security. You will design, develop and operate new product features, and lead architectural discussions.

The team builds in Python and React, uses Docker, GitLab CI/CD and AWS, and works across multiple time zones. You will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with a technical Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java and strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience with SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch or Splunk.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong monitoring, telemetry and log management capabilities.
• Clear communication and collaboration across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and be accountable for the design, development and operation of new product features.
• Lead team design and architectural discussions.
• Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications.
• Debug and resolve customer-reported issues, delivering effective solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews and other operational activities.
• Learn, explore, and integrate new technologies into the team’s workflow.
• Mentor junior members of the team with an eye toward their future career growth.
