ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Poland seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP Center of Excellence. You will design, develop, test and maintain ABAP solutions aligned with architecture and coding standards.

The role requires strong OO ABAP, SAP HANA/SQLScript/AMDP/CDS Views and knowledge of IFRS 9/IFRS 17 within banking or insurance domains. Flexible working options and a dynamic, international team are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer (modern ABAP).
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Experience with SAP HANA, SQLScript, AMDP, CDS Views.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and database push-down techniques.
• Understanding of financial processes and subledger accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 / IFRS 17 and banking or insurance domain.
• Experience with SAP FI (tables, structures, programming).
• Experience in incident management and production support.
• Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.

• building and executing unit tests and supporting business testing
• analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and production issues
• providing technical support, monitoring and maintenance
• preparing technical documentation and supporting system releases and upgrades (SPDD, SPAU, SAP Notes)
• configuring and maintaining CVPM processes in SAP FPSL
• implementing and monitoring data flow between SDL and RDL
• developing high-performance solutions using AMDP and HANA SQLScript (code push-down approach)
• performing performance tuning and root cause analysis
• designing and monitoring process chains and background jobs (SM37) for automation

• knowledge of performance optimization and database push-down techniques
