Imagination is a UK-based company that creates silicon and software IP designed to give its customers an edge in competitive global technology markets. Its GPU and AI technologies enable outstanding power, performance, and area (PPA), fast time-to-market, and lower total cost of ownership.

We are seeking a software engineer to design and implement scalable orchestration solutions, focusing on Python-based workflows, data contracts, and tests, with strong emphasis on readability and reliability.

Qualificações

• Professional software development experience.
• Strong command of Python or a modern strongly-typed language.
• Demonstrated understanding of SOLID, OOP and composition-based architecture.
• Ability to write testable code with DI and mocks.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and data modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement orchestration logic for modular pipelines.
• Apply solid software design to keep code maintainable as complexity grows.
• Define clear, strongly-typed data contracts between pipeline stages.
• Design retry, checkpoint and resume mechanisms for long-running jobs.
• Implement human-in-the-loop patterns for review and rerouting.
• Write thorough automated tests (unit/integration).
• Build observability: logging, metrics, status reporting.
• Collaborate with platform/infrastructure to consume secrets and config.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation efforts.
