Job summary

AMD is seeking a senior AI workflow engineer to develop, ship, and scale AI-powered tooling within its Compute and Graphics group. You will work inside a CG team to embed agentic AI into core workflows, build fast, observe usage, fix issues, and drive adoption across initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in technical roles, with hands-on AI workflow experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and fluency with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical experience, including 1+ year building and shipping AI workflows.
• Fluency with AI development tooling: agent frameworks, API integrations, Claude Code, Cursor, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong in Python and SQL, plus at least one other common language.
• A track record of AI tools, automations, or agentic systems that changed real work, not demos.
• Evidence that people you enabled actually changed how they work.
• Able to explain technical ideas to non-technical people.
• Comfortable running several relationships and workstreams at once, across a range of AI skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-powered tooling and workflows within the CG team.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to integrate AI capabilities.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize adoption of AI solutions across teams.
• Iterate on tools and automation to improve real-world workflows.
