Job summary

Solventum, part of 3M Healthcare, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join a global team delivering cloud-based enterprise software. You will collaborate across functions to design, develop, and deploy world-class applications for health information systems and data centers worldwide.

Requirements include Java/J2EE expertise, cloud experience (AWS), and proficiency with Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL, and CI/CD tools. Remote work is available with relocation may be authorized.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5 years of Java/J2EE development
• High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of Java/J2EE development

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience in enterprise level, high volume, hosted applications in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
• Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases in design, development, and implementation
• Experience using Kubernetes for deploying applications
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with common HL7 and X12 based transactions
• Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA, Ansible, Jenkin and/or Git
• Experience with Kafka
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to lead and provide guidance to others
