Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations Team. You will build and maintain the MCP server and the platform for universal agent skills, collaborating with product teams and external partners.

The role emphasizes Go and multi-language work in a fast-moving, remote team environment. Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, and MCP, plus strong API and developer experience, will help shape integrations across ecosystems.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience on backend systems, services or libraries.
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and a working understanding of LLMs, agents and MCP.
• Significant Go experience and ideally other languages.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort reading and contributing to unfamiliar codebases and languages.
• Strong software engineering practices and usability focus.
• Product thinking and strong opinions on what is worth building.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, including with external partners.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and infrastructure, mainly in Go.
• Create the platform for universal agent skills and tooling.
• Ensure correctness with evals and robust quality controls.
• Design and deliver integrations for Elastic inside third-party ecosystems.
• Contribute to Elastic CLI to improve developer efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and support libraries and integrations for the Elastic Stack in Go and Rust.
• Bring product thinking and defend architectural choices based on the ecosystem.
