Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with complex enterprise systems.
• Track record turning customer challenges into technical direction and execution.
• Strong system design judgment including service boundaries and dependencies.
• Experience leading delivery with ownership of a critical system or coordination across services and teams.
• Ability to mentor and improve other engineers’ effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions to identify gaps in the telematics data platform and influence roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Ship features delivering value and refine them from feedback.
• Deliver full stack features across frontend, backend and mobile using relevant technologies.
• Maintain production systems and provide operational support.
• Contribute to core architecture and roadmaps; embody Samsara’s cultural principles.
• Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, high‑performing team.
