Job summary

Google Inc. in Warsaw is expanding the Home Infrastructure team to build out memory-focused infrastructure and tooling that enable engineers to optimize memory usage across products.

The Senior Software Engineer, Health and Home Infrastructure will drive performance, stability, and code health at scale while collaborating with teams in London and beyond. You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architecture discussions, and help identify future investments for the team as we grow this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in C++ or Java.
• Experience with platforms and infrastructure development.
• Experience refactoring and working in legacy systems.
• Experience with memory or other resource optimizations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior team members in ramping up in the space.
• Work collaboratively with other teams in Home Infrastructure, especially in London, for delivering projects.
• Propose future investment opportunities for the team.
• Ensure high engineering quality in the team.
