Job summary

Google Warsaw, Poland; London, UK is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Home and Health. You will own architecture for large-scale backend systems, lead cross-functional teams, and drive technical direction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 8 years of software engineering experience focusing on backend architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; testing/launching software products.
• Experience operating as a technical leader, overseeing multiple parallel projects and setting technical direction for multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
• Influence and coach a distributed team of Engineers.
• Facilitate alignment across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
