Investment Operations is a product area within SimCorp’s Product Division, which delivers functionality enabling the operations users to be highly efficient. It also offers full STP and automation capability for the workflows and processes seamlessly across the product areas and the financial institutions workflows.
As part of our Investment Operations Product Area, you will contribute to the development of enterprise products within this product area. You will collaborate with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark and Germany, while gaining deep expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.
You will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting ofsoftwareengineers,whocollaborate closelywith business experts. The teamis responsible fordeveloping and supportinga setof enterprise products within theFinancialInstruments’Life Cycle. Youareexpected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark,and Germany. Afteracomprehensive onboarding program,we expect you to:
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C# , adhering eestablishedcoding standards.
Learn and work with APL, including developing new features and debugging existing functionality, with full support from our team throughout the learning process.
Design, develop,and test new featurestosupport the existing product.
Create test casesandautomated tests to cover the features’ acceptance criteria(E2E,API, UT).
Closely communicate and collaborate with Team, Product Owner, Technical Leads during feature analysis, refinement,developmentand implementation.
Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during feature refinements.
Support the product.
Prepare and conduct Sprint review/DEMO sessions.
Initiatetechnical andprocessenhancementsin the team.
Be proactivein improvingautomation, tools, frameworks, etc.
Work as afull stackdeveloper, bothfront-endandback-end(SOA).
AM.Sc. in Finance, Computer Science,Mathematicsor a similar field
Good knowledge and experience(3+years)inC#(.NETor .NET Framework)
Knowledge and experience inthefinancial domain, fintech,derivatives(options, futures, swaps, etc.)isan advantage.
Experience inboth manual andautomated testing, with the ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategiesand allleveltestsfor software applications(E2E,API, UT).
Experience withCloud and On-Prem Infrastructures
Curiosity andreadinessto learnin-house tools and frameworks
Understandingand adherenceto XP practices (TDD, pair-programmingetc.)
Deep knowledgeofrelational DB (Oracle, SQLite,etc.)
AwarenessofCI/CD processes and tools (git, TeamCity, etc.)
Readinessto support existing system (legacy)
Experience with Domain-DrivenDesignis a plus.
Good English skills (upperintermediate andhigher), written as well as spoken, as English is our corporate language
