Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our Investment Operations product area in Warsaw. You will contribute to enterprise products, collaborating with colleagues across Ukraine, Poland, Denmark and Germany, and grow expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.

You will work in a self-organized Scrum team, developing and supporting enterprise products, writing clean C# code, and delivering features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• AM.Sc. in Finance, CS, Mathematics or similar.
• 3+ years of C# (.NET or .NET Framework) experience.
• Knowledge of the financial domain, fintech, derivatives is a plus.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing with test strategies and tests (E2E, API, UT).
• Experience with Cloud and On-Prem infrastructures.
• Good English skills (upper-intermediate+) in writing and speaking.
• Familiarity with XP practices (TDD, pair-programming).

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable C# code following established standards.
• Learn and work with APL, including developing new features and debugging.
• Design, develop, and test new features for the product.
• Create test cases and automated tests (E2E, API, UT).
• Collaborate with Team, Product Owner and Tech Leads during feature analysis and implementation.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during refinements.
• Support the product after release.
• Prepare and conduct Sprint reviews/DEMO sessions.
• Initiate technical and process enhancements in the team.
• Proactively improve automation, tools and frameworks.
• Work as a full-stack developer (frontend and backend).

Investment Operations is a product area within SimCorp’s Product Division, which delivers functionality enabling the operations users to be highly efficient. It also offers full STP and automation capability for the workflows and processes seamlessly across the product areas and the financial institutions workflows.

As part of our Investment Operations Product Area, you will contribute to the development of enterprise products within this product area. You will collaborate with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark and Germany, while gaining deep expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting ofsoftwareengineers,whocollaborate closelywith business experts. The teamis responsible fordeveloping and supportinga setof enterprise products within theFinancialInstruments’Life Cycle. Youareexpected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark,and Germany. Afteracomprehensive onboarding program,we expect you to:

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C# , adhering eestablishedcoding standards.

• Learn and work with APL, including developing new features and debugging existing functionality, with full support from our team throughout the learning process.

• Design, develop,and test new featurestosupport the existing product.

• Create test casesandautomated tests to cover the features’ acceptance criteria(E2E,API, UT).

• Closely communicate and collaborate with Team, Product Owner, Technical Leads during feature analysis, refinement,developmentand implementation.

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during feature refinements.

• Support the product.

• Prepare and conduct Sprint review/DEMO sessions.

• Initiatetechnical andprocessenhancementsin the team.

• Be proactivein improvingautomation, tools, frameworks, etc.

• Work as afull stackdeveloper, bothfront-endandback-end(SOA).

WHAT WE VALUE
