Job summary

SimCorp is seeking an experienced Developer in Warsaw to join a self-organized Scrum team within Investment Operations. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise features in .NET/C# and drive automation-first testing strategies across E2E, API, and integration tests.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and Leads, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor peers while advancing CI/CD and cloud-based delivery. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET
• Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications in .NET/C#
• Demonstrated expertise in automation frameworks and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of cloud (Azure) and building/managing pipelines
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken
• Ability to mentor and collaborate across teams

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As a Developer in a self-organized Scrum team, you will:

• Design, implement,andmaintainnewfeatures.
• Take technical ownership of feature delivery, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.
• Drive automation-first approach: design, implement, and maintainE2E, API, Integration tests.
• Performmanual exploratory testingfor complex scenarios.
• Define test strategiesata feature/modulelevel.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and teammates during analysis, refinement, and development.
• Contribute to architectural discussionsandparticipateintechnicaldecision-making
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive improvements in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices (XP, TDD, clean code).
• Engage in Sprint Reviews/Demos and continuous process improvements

WHAT WE VALUE

• We are looking for an experienced engineer with well-developed technical and collaborative skills Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, ora relatedfield.
• 3+ years of professional experience with C#(.NETor .NET Framework).
• Extensive experience indesigning and developing enterpriseapplicationsin .NET / C#.
• Demonstratedexpertiseinautomation frameworks and CI/CD
• Solid understanding ofmanual testing techniquesand QA best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of Cloud and On-Preminfrastructures
• Deep knowledge ofCI/CD processes and tools(Git, TeamCity, Azure DevOps).
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and building/managing pipelines
• Readiness tolearnAPL,developingnewfeaturesanddebuggingexistingfunctionality, with full support from our team throughout the learning process.
• Solid understanding ofsoftware architecture and design patternswith experience in Domain-Driven Design
• Familiarity withXP practices(TDD, pair programming, CI).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Proficient English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken
• Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire other developers.
