Job summary

Box Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Device Security team. You will help ensure only trusted devices access Box’s Intelligent Content Management platform across Web, Mobile and Desktop.

You'll lead backend development in Java, architect secure, scalable services, and collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions with high uptime and strong observability. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend development with leadership experience.
• Proficient in Java and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern web tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mission-critical software for trusted device access.
• Lead components in authentication and secure access.
• Own services end-to-end from architecture to deployment.
• Ensure high availability through observability and on-call support.
• Collaborate with product, security, and infra teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Drive security infrastructure evolution.
