Jit is seeking a skilled Developer to work on the Automated Security Retest Engine, contributing to Python-based processing pipelines and a Java Spring Boot-based UI. You will collaborate with security experts and product owners to build scalable, secure solutions in an international banking environment.

You will design, develop, and maintain backend features, integrate APIs and external tools, and implement automated tests while maintaining documentation and development standards.

Project

Join a team developing the Automated Security Retest Engine, an innovative platform designed to automate the analysis of security assessment reports and verify remediation activities. The solution helps streamline the security retesting process by combining software engineering, security automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

As a Developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of both the Python-based processing pipeline and the Java Spring Boot application that provides the user interface. You will work closely with security specialists and product stakeholders to build scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.

The role offers a unique opportunity to combine software engineering,application security, automation, and AI technologies within an international banking environment.

Responsibilities you’ll have

• Design, develop, and maintain features within the Automated Security Retest Engine
• Develop and enhance Python-based processing pipelines
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs
• Contribute to the Java Spring Boot web application
• Integrate external tools, APIs, and AI/LLM-based services
• Improve reliability, accuracy, and quality of generated security tests and analysis
• Write automated unit and integration tests
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards
• Collaborate with security experts and product stakeholders to transform requirements into practical solutions
• Ensure the platform adheres to application security requirements and best practices

Must have competences and knowledge

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in Python and/or Java development
• Experience developing and maintaining backend applications
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs
• For Java development: hands-on experience withSpring Boot
• For Python development: experience building modular applications and maintainable codebases
• Understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience with automated testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and English proficiency

Nice-to-have competences and knowledge

• Experience working with both Python and Java
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or building AI-assisted workflows
• Knowledge of structured-output validation and error-handling mechanisms
• Experience with application security testing
