Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design and implement automated pipelines across DEV to PROD, driving deployment automation. You will work with Jenkins, Bamboo, Tekton, GitHub Actions, Git, ArgoCD, Docker and Kubernetes in an international Agile environment.

You'll help plan technical implementations, troubleshoot pipelines, and promote continuous improvement while collaborating with multi-country teams and English-speaking stakeholders in our Nordic-oriented client projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms and version control tools.
• Experience with building and deploying automated pipelines.

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa(2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

As a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer , you will work closely with other CI/CD team members and stakeholders to plan, design, and implement automated pipelines and drive improvements around deployment automation. You will work with technologies such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Tekton, GitHub Actions, Git, ArgoCD, Docker, and Kubernetes , supporting reliable and scalable delivery processes. You will also contribute to technical implementation planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. The role involves working in an international Agile environment and proactively identifying technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for automation.

Responsibilities you’ll have

• Ensure that all existing pipelines are working as smoothly as possible every day (this is the main part of CICD team’s daily life)
• Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines through all the environments from DEV to PROD, and the related tooling and working practices
• Design and implement visualization of system health and operational status of different builds and deployments in the pipelines
• Participate in internal team status calls, planning events, and knowledge sharing sessions
• Participate in final dress rehearsals, release go live events, and migration events in Production after business hours or during weekends
• Co-operate with other experts and managers in own and other teams when troubleshooting issues in the pipelines, or planning some new improvements
• Ensure security and compliance in the CI/CD process
• Document processes and provide training to team members

Expected competences and knowledge

• CI/CD & version control: very good knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions and version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket
• Build, GitOps & developer platforms: experience with Maven, ArgoCD, Backstage and artifact repositories such as Artifactory
• Scripting & automation: good knowledge of at least one scripting language: Bash, PowerShell or Python, with hands-on experience in automation
• Linux & databases: practical knowledge of Linux OS and SQL, including basic database operations, preferably with Oracle
• Containers & orchestration: experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including environments such as MKE, GKE or vCluster
• Enterprise systems & architecture: experience developing enterprise solutions, application integration, environment scalability and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Technical planning: ability to break down larger technical work items, prepare implementation plans, estimate effort and proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments and using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and MS Teams
• Previous experience in the financial sector, particularly with account or payment systems
• Experience working in international, multi-country teams with fluent English
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive, self-driven team player with an open mindset and willingness to continuously learn
