Job summary

Ericsson in Krakow is seeking a software engineer to join our Load Testing Framework/Platform team. You will analyze, design, and test features for 4G/5G solutions, working closely with global teams to meet high customer demands.

Candidates should have a Master or Bachelor in CS/Telecom, strong Linux skills, and knowledge of Erlang; C/C++ is a bonus. This hybrid role involves collaboration across international projects and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Erlang; C/C++ is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in Packet Core Product development; 3GPP experience is preferred.
• Experience with Linux and software design methods (OOP, UML).

About this opportunity

We are developing world class Load Testing Framework/Platform for Ericsson 4G & 5G network. The requirements on our products, from both existing and potential new customers, are currently very high and there is a huge demand of new features as well as higher capacity and performance. Our 4G/5G Test Framework/Platform is widely used by Ericsson Globally (Sweden, Canada, USA, China & Spain).

What you will do

• Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
• Develop and Test High Quality Products
• Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
• Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Process

You will bring

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electronics or equivalent formal education
• Good knowledge of Erlang; C/C++ programming skills are nice to have
• Min. 3 years working experience with Packet Core Product development is mandatory (experience with Dallas will be beneficial)
• Expertise in software development methods and tools (Object Oriented design, Design pattern, UML, Rose)
• Good knowledge in data structure, e.g. array, list, set, queue, tree, etc.
• Proficiency in Linux
• Working experience with 3GPP
• Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal)
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply to work tasks
• Innovative and solution thinking abilities

We work in hybdrid modal- 3 days from office
