Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o in Kraków seeks an experienced Architect/Staff Engineer to extend capabilities of a mission-critical, highly available platform. You will lead architectural decisions, guide cross-team collaboration, and mentor engineers in a DevOps, microservices environment.

The role requires 12+ years’ experience, expertise in Java, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and RESTful APIs. Hybrid/remote work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields.
• 12+ years of experience in building products and driving architecture.
• English language skills enabling communication with North America peers and customers.
• Leads technically or managerially, plans work, and defines team architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions and drive end-to-end software architecture for mission-critical systems.
• Mentor and coach team members; influence technical roadmap and reduce debt.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure robust distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including VP level.
