Job summary

SOFTETA is seeking a seasoned SOC Architect to design and implement security operations for IT and OT environments in the energy sector. You will lead security monitoring strategy across enterprise, cloud, and industrial control systems and supervise tool evaluations, roadmaps, and reference architectures.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on SOC architecture and security engineering, plus strong communication to influence technical direction and Fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including SOC architecture and security engineering.
• Familiarity with industrial automation environments (PLC, SAS, OT General).
• Strong IT/OT cybersecurity concepts and IEC 62443 knowledge.
• Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable security architectures.
• Excellent communication with ability to influence technical direction.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SOC architecture for IT and OT environments across energy assets.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring strategy across enterprise, cloud, and industrial systems.
• Define SOC architecture roadmaps, technology standards, and reference architectures.
• Lead security tool evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor selections.
• Develop architecture documentation, security standards, implementation guidelines.
• Support cyber resilience initiatives with incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including NIS2 and IEC 62443.
