Job summary

ABC Fitness is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to partner with software teams in building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native services. You will define SLIs/SLOs, influence architecture, and lead incident response across a global engineering team.

We expect 8+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong cloud infra (AWS), IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD with tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins. Remote-friendly with international collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on SRE/DevOps or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Partner with software development teams to build reliable, scalable, secure, and cloud-native services.
Define, implement, and improve Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives linking platform reliability to business impact.
Define and influence scalable architecture patterns across engineering teams for resilient, observable systems.
Establish best practices for availability, reliability, scalability, performance, observability, incident response, and operational readiness.
Design and support deployment pipelines and release practices for safe, confident deployments.
Integrate security and reliability practices into the SDLC, identifying risks.
Lead production incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident learning.
Mentor engineers and foster learning, improvement, and operational excellence.
