Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Security Operations Engineer based in Poland to strengthen infrastructure security and resilience across a globally distributed environment.

You will design, implement, and evolve security operations practices, tools and policies, blending cyber defense, threat intelligence, risk management and incident response to protect critical systems and open-source ecosystems. The role emphasizes autonomy, learning, and strong technical judgment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in CS, STEM or equivalent.
• Strong motivation to work at the forefront of security tech.
• Experience with threat modelling and recognised risk frameworks.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evolve security operations standards, procedures, playbooks and practices.
• Analyze and improve security architecture and development processes.
• Evaluate, deploy and improve security tools and practices.
• Identify, investigate, contain and support remediation of threats.
• Apply threat modelling and risk management to identify vulnerabilities and controls.
• Lead or contribute to tabletop exercises across teams.
• Develop security learning materials to strengthen capabilities.
• Monitor security KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to open-source threat intelligence initiatives.
• Develop thought leadership through talks, papers and events.
• Collaborate with leadership to communicate risks and drive improvements.
• Plan and deliver initiatives within an agile engineering setting.
