Job summary

Akamai invites a Security Architect to shape the next generation of AI-driven security solutions. You will design scalable architectures, lead data-driven security initiatives, and mentor engineers across global teams.

You will partner with engineering, security, and infrastructure groups to translate complex security challenges into actionable outcomes, drive measurable improvements, and push innovation while safeguarding the internet at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and delivering cybersecurity data related solutions across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience in system and application development, operating systems and cloud architecture.
• Cross-functional knowledge across security, networking, threat management, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in modern development languages and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of applying AI/LLM technologies to security and operations.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to audiences from engineers to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and evolving scalable security architectures and data-driven solutions that improve vulnerability visibility and attack surface management.
• Leading the implementation of practical security solutions with measurable outcomes.
