Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join a high-impact program in the banking sector. You will lead automation efforts for a cloud-native data platform on Azure, crafting robust test strategies and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud-scale reliability.

You will design scalable frameworks, implement automated tests, and drive quality across 50+ business tenants. Strong Java, SQL, and CI/CD experience, plus Agile collaboration, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years ofAutomation Testing experience in Banking/FS domain.
• Solid Java backend development and testing with BDD and AI-assisted test automation.
• Design and implement automated tests in cloud environments (Azure) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of performance, load, or security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with debugging complex systems and scalable automation.
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing with Java, preferably in Banking and Financial Services domain.
• Solid Java Backend development and testing experience along with with behavior-driven development and AI-assisted test automation.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust automated test cases in cloud-based environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git/GitHub/GitLab, and pipeline automation.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging complex systems and developing scalable test automation solutions.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Kafka or other event streaming platforms is a plus.
