Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer specialized in SASE, focusing on Prisma Access. You will be the technical backbone for enterprise customers, addressing complex architectural challenges at the intersection of networking and security.

As a senior member, you will mentor engineers, interface with Product Management and Engineering, and ensure deployment aligns with best practices across global customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical support or systems engineering role
• 2+ years focused on SASE or Cloud Security
• Mastery of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs, SSL/TLS)
• Strong understanding of NGFW, ZTNA, SWG, CASB

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex issues involving Prisma Access and cloud configurations
• Debug routing and connectivity across hybrid environments (SD-WAN, BGP)
• Perform root cause analysis with Wireshark/log analysis
• Act as technical lead and mentor for junior engineers
• Collaborate with Product Management/Engineering to influence product direction
• Manage and optimize Prisma security policies (SSL Decrypt, DLP, WildFire)
• Create technical docs and train the team
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous learning
• Lead RCAs and implement preventive measures
