Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. seeks a Senior Salesforce Engineer to design scalable Salesforce solutions and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems. You will lead a team of engineers, partner with government clients, and apply DevOps practices to streamline workflows.

The role requires deep Salesforce expertise, strong communication, and a bias for action in a remote-first, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

10+ years designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions.
Proficient in Apex, LWC, and Flows; strong integration skills.
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, ETL tools, or event-driven architectures.
Background with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Salesforce DX).
Experience with other languages/frameworks (.NET, Python, Ruby on Rails).
Knowledge of cloud infra (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Able to design user interfaces with Salesforce best practices.
Able to think strategically about trade-offs and long-term impact.
Ability to enforce governance, security, and scalability standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication; reliable and detail-oriented.
Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with government partners to architect scalable Salesforce solutions.
Lead architectural design of Salesforce implementations and ensure best practices.
Define governance, security, and scalability standards for Salesforce projects.
Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems via APIs and middleware.
Provide guidance on Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flows.
Review documentation, perform code reviews, ensure code quality.
Shape development, integration, and deployment processes with best practices.
Implement automation, CI/CD, and testing frameworks for Salesforce apps.
Work in Agile, ship features that meet user needs, participate in on-call rotation.
Assist in hiring activities and mentor junior engineers.
