Job summary

Nigel Frank International seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale a high-throughput trade management platform using Rust and C#/.NET Core. You will design and implement high-performance services and work closely with teams to ensure reliability and scalability.

You will apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing and refactoring, while maintaining security and performance across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of C# / .NET Core.
• Expertise in Rust and async programming.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud (AWS).
• Knowledge of REST, gRPC and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance, multithreaded systems in Rust.
• Design and operate scalable distributed services.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Review AI-generated code for security and performance.
• Own systems across architecture to production support.
• Optimize latency, memory usage, and AWS costs.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams.
