Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services for distributed IoT and industrial systems. You will create high-performance Rust services, develop microservices architectures, and enable reliable data exchange across cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement event-driven patterns with Kafka, leverage Redis caching, and deploy on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

5+ years of backend software development experience.
Commercial experience with Rust.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with Apache Kafka and Redis in production.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized apps.
Good knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous communication.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Fluent English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Rust.
Build and evolve microservice-based architectures.
Develop scalable services for data processing across distributed systems.
Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
Work with Redis for caching and low-latency data access.
Deploy and maintain applications on Kubernetes.
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps throughout the SDLC.
Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of solutions.
