Job summary

Keyrock in Kraków, a remote-friendly leader in crypto markets, seeks a Head of Engineering to lead the Options Engineering team and evolve our Rust-based systematic trading platform. You will own architecture and delivery of automated quoting, execution, risk controls and pricing workflows, ensure production reliability, and partner with traders, quants, risk, product, and infra.

Candidates should bring 7+ years in systematic trading, strong Rust/C/C++ skills, and a track record of building

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market‑making or low‑latency systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust.
• Understanding of automated quoting, execution, pricing and risk controls.
• Experience with production‑grade validation and testing practices.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and production reliability.
• Knowledge of crypto exchanges and FPGA tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Own and evolve the Rust‑native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide strong tech direction across trading infrastructure and system design.
• Drive latency, reliability, safety, and delivery in trading systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Balance technical leadership with people leadership and delivery ownership.
