EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join our dynamic team in a hybrid role with visits to offices across major Polish cities. You will develop and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and drive quality through RSpec-based testing.

Collaboration with product owners and mentoring juniors are key parts of the role. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Ruby/Rails experience, strong PostgreSQL skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Ruby and Rails ecosystem (3+ years).
• Proven ability to build scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby/Rails.
• Optimize queries in PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable code with RSpec and TDD/BDD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Address scalability and performance issues, deploy stable applications.
• Translate requirements with product owners and troubleshoot production issues.
