Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join an international team delivering essential infrastructure software. You will develop features, refine code for readability, and contribute to the full development lifecycle while maintaining direct client communication.

The role offers a hybrid model with 3 days per week in client offices in Kraków, Gdańsk, or Wrocław, Poland, and opportunities to grow with experienced engineers in a modern, autonomous team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience across full software lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, build, test, support).
• 1+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Solid knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and SQL.
• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing confidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and refine existing code for readability and efficiency.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle from analysis through testing and support.
• Communicate directly with the client daily to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on a scalable, high-performance platform.
• Continuously learn the project domain and explore new technologies.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
