Job summary

Randstad Polska Sp. z oo in Kraków is seeking a Senior General Accounting Consultant (Record to Report) to collaborate with accounting teams and our outsourcing partner in managing close processes.

You will support EMEA financial processes, reconcile balance sheets, and provide explanations to auditors while working cross-functionally for data. Strong English, ERP experience, and audit exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• University qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Reporting in a multinational.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• US GAAP reporting knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with major ERP systems (SAP R3, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle).
• Exposure to external audits and collaboration with auditors is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, influencing and coordination skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Ability to drive collaboration across businesses and functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with accounting teams to manage close processes for period, quarter and year.
• Support financial processes within the EMEA region from process and country perspective.
• Oversee outsourced RTR team members to some extent.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and explain movements to auditors.
• Gather data from other departments to manage processes.
• Support month-end close for cost of sales, revenue, accruals, banking, treasury, SG&A, standard costing.
• Calculate and manage Profit & Loss postings for projects.
• Develop Standard Work documentation for process flows.
• Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Internal and External Audit processes.
• Support KPI reporting for team and department.
• Provide guidance to business on relevant queries.
