Job summary

emagine Polska is seeking a seasoned Release Manager to oversee planning and execution of releases for banking technology platforms and applications in a hybrid setup in Gdańsk. You will work with cross-functional teams, drive automation and continuous delivery, and engage stakeholders to approve milestones. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Overview We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to oversee the planning and execution of technology platform and application releases.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain the release roadmap for multiple applications.
• Oversee release and deployment planning for parallel releases.
• Facilitate go-live preparations and post-go-live activities.
• Coordinate and track change activities throughout the release process.
• Lead decision meetings for stakeholder approvals on release milestones.
• Organize handover sessions between development and operations teams.
• Enhance release quality and efficiency by integrating innovative techniques and automation.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management and planning.
• Previous experience in release or deployment management, preferably in banking.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools for incident, problem, and change management.
• Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
