Job summary

Engenious in Kraków seeks an experienced R&D Software Developer to deliver high-performance C++ applications for real-time, secure systems. You will work with modern C++ (C++17/20) and focus on low latency, reliability, and long product lifecycles.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, participate in architectural reviews, and drive build tooling, dependency management, and secure software supply chain practices across Linux and Windows in an agile

Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior technical roles with C++ focus.
• Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20) and memory management.
• Experience with cross-platform Windows/Linux development and build tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance C++ cores for real-time operation and low latency.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews, design docs, and roadmaps.
• Ensure secure software supply chains and effective dependency management.
• Maintain cross-platform support and optimize build systems (Linux/Windows).
• Apply SOLID, KISS, DRY principles and drive automated testing.
