Job summary

Hatch in Katowice, Poland, is seeking an experienced Senior Requirements Manager - Systems Engineer to lead requirements management for major rail and metro programmes during tender phases and beyond.

You will develop RM plans, capture and allocate contractual and technical requirements, maintain traceability matrices, and coordinate inputs from designers, contractors and operators across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Systems Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Typically, 7–10 years of experience in Systems Engineering, requirements management or complex multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Experience managing requirements on rail, transportation or major infrastructure programmes.
• Knowledge of requirements capture, analysis, decomposition, allocation, traceability, compliance and change management.
• Experience developing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices or equivalent repositories.
• Experience coordinating requirements across multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, suppliers or project packages.
• Knowledge of lifecycle processes (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288) and Verification/Validation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management activities for major rail and metro programmes.
• Develop and implement requirements management plans, processes and templates.
• Capture, analyse, structure and manage contractual, technical, operational and assurance requirements.
• Support the development of System Breakdown Structures and allocation of requirements.
• Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices and repositories.
• Coordinate inputs from designers, contractors, suppliers and operators.
• Manage requirements changes and assess impact on systems and deliverables.
• Prepare requirements reports, dashboards and progress updates for teams and clients.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
