Job summary

Flex is seeking a Process Engineer based in Lodz to lead process-improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines. You will develop, implement and optimize processes to boost cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Automation and Maintenance teams to solve issues and drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and hands-on experience with production processes, data analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, production, automation or mechatronics.
• Engineering mindset and experience in manufacturing.
• Practical approach to problem solving and direct work with processes.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with documentation and data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in Process Engineering.
• Fluent Polish and at least intermediate English for international work.

Job Summary

We are looking for a new Process Engineer employee to be based in Lodz

Summary:

This new employee will be in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support production lines in solving process and technical issues.
• Analyze production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions and technical standards.
• Support introduction of new products, processes and equipment into production.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on quality, productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.
• Define process requirements and support implementation or modification of production equipment and tooling.
• Support implementation, operation and continuous improvement of collaborative robot (cobot) applications in production processes.
• Support implementation and operation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs/AGVs) and other automated material transport solutions.
• Troubleshoot robotic and automated transport applications in cooperation with Automation, Maintenance, Production and external suppliers.
• Cooperate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation and other engineering functions.
• Analyze process data and production performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  
• Support technical and automation projects from concept through implementation.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Technical degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, production engineering, automation or mechatronics.
• Engineering mindset and some relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical approach to problem solving and willingness to work directly with production processes and equipment.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, propose practical solutions and also to organize own work and manage several technical topics simultaneously.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with technical documentation and production data.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the Process Engineering area.
• Fluent Polish and at least intermediate English language knowledge that allows communication in an international working environment.
• Eligibility to work in Poland.
