Job summary

Circle is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to embed quality into Circle’s product. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product and Design, contributing during the development lifecycle, identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and making quality visible across the organization.

You’ll drive test strategy, build automated coverage for web, APIs and integrations, and work with teams to improve testability and feedback loops.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, as most collaboration happens asynchronously.
• Strong web test automation experience with Playwright, TypeScript, or comparable technologies.
• Good knowledge of API and integration testing.
• Strong exploratory and risk-based testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Quality: Partner with multiple product teams and bring a quality perspective to user journeys, UI/UX, requirements and technical approaches.
• Automation & Technical Quality: Build and maintain reliable automated coverage across web, APIs and integrations; investigate complex failures.
• Quality Strategy & Enablement: Identify systemic quality issues and drive improvements across teams; share knowledge to strengthen quality ownership.
