Job summary

Circle is hiring a Lead Product Designer to own a core product area, define problems, shape direction, and ship experiences with product managers, engineers, and design leadership. You’ll work in a senior capacity on a global, async, remote team that values AI-driven design and high-quality craft.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, mentorship of peers, and contributing to product strategy while working across time zones in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of product design experience.
• Portfolio shows systems-level thinking: shipped 0→1 work and complex multi-user flows.
• Experience as the most senior designer on a product area and owning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own a product area end-to-end: identify opportunities, frame the problem, set design direction, and ship—peer to Product and Engineering.
• Design complex, multi-step product flows for multiple user types.
• Prototype and test quickly using AI-assisted tools and code-generation workflows.
• Influence product strategy beyond your area and contribute to roadmaps.
• Raise the craft standard for interaction design and visual quality across the team.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and design engineers to deliver working, shippable experiences.
