Job summary

Circle is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to embed quality into our AI-powered platform. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Leads and Design across Circle’s product teams to shape testing strategies and drive automated coverage.

You’ll apply exploratory testing, automation, and technical investigation to help teams ship with confidence, while advancing quality platforms and tooling for scalable impact.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English (CEFR C2)
• Strong web test automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript
• Good knowledge of API and integration testing
• Strong exploratory and risk-based testing skills
• Confidence reading application code and debugging complex issues
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
• Strong product judgement and collaborative approach across teams
• Autonomy and ability to identify where input adds value

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple product teams across different areas of Circle.
• Build and maintain reliable automated coverage across web, APIs and integrations.
• Identify quality risks and shape pragmatic, risk-based testing approaches.
• Bring quality perspective to user journeys, UI/UX, requirements and technical approaches.
• Share knowledge to strengthen quality ownership across Engineering.
