Luxoft is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to own testing for an ETD platform, focusing on Java backend, React frontend, and Azure data pipelines. You will lead automation, implement security checks, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

The role requires extensive Java testing, automation process creation, and hands-on API/UI testing across the full development lifecycle in an Azure environment.

Qualifications

• Min. 8–9 years of independent Java testing experience and technical leadership.
• Strong ability to build QA and automation processes from scratch.
• Hands-on testing of React front-end applications.
• Experience with Azure ecosystem, especially Azure Data Factory.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle; communicate with stakeholders.
• Jira knowledge for test planning and tracking.

Responsabilités

• Own crisis management with a rapid manual test plan and strategy for critical releases.
• Lead design of a modular automation framework using Java 21, Selenide, and JUnit 5.
• Test integration with Spring Boot backends and Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Ensure coverage of complex rules and jurisdictional logic in testing.
• Define and execute E2E workflow scenarios and security checks (2FA, geo-restrictions).
• Collaborate with BAs/POs and Scrum of Scrums to align testing within timelines.

A skilled QA Engineer is needed to work on the transaction management, regulation, and reporting systems for an Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) platform. The platform covers major functions including the clearing, settlement, and reporting of futures, options, and swap products. These are fully enterprise-integrated, server-side core Java systems built on in-memory and event-driven data feeds, hosted on Azure with significant use of Azure Data Factory (ADF), a Java midtier, and a React front end.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Management & Test Strategy: Take ownership of a critical release with limited runway, minimal existing test coverage, and evolving scope. Develop and execute an immediate manual Test Plan and Strategy to achieve a quality release.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead the design and development of a future-proof, modular automation framework using Java 21, Selenide, and JUnit 5 for React UI testing, and RestAssured for robust API validation.
• Integration & Backend Testing: Validate the Java mid-tier and configure Spring Boot integrations to connect with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and related Azure services.
• Compliance & Functional Coverage: Focus testing efforts on the complex conflict-check rules engine and accurate jurisdictional logic.
• E2E and Security Testing: Define and execute critical End-to-End (E2E) workflow scenarios and implement security checks, including 2-Factor Authentication and geo-location-based user access validation.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage proactively with BAs/POs to ensure clarity in user stories and fit testing activities into the broader organizational timeline by participating in Scrum of Scrums with management.
