Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to own testing for an Exchange Traded Derivatives platform built on Java, React front end, and Azure data services. You will lead test strategy, develop automation from scratch, and coordinate with BAs/POs across Scrum of Scrums.

The role emphasizes crisis management, E2E and security testing, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure quality releases on Azure Data Factory pipelines.

Qualifications

• Min. 8–9 years' experience with full independent Java testing skills and technical leadership.
• Strong skills in building QA and QA automation processes from scratch.
• Hands‑on experience testing React front-end applications.
• Experience with the Azure ecosystem, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Participating in the full life cycle of development.
• Communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Management & Test Strategy: Take ownership of a critical release with limited runway, minimal existing test coverage, and evolving scope.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead the design and development of a future-proof automation framework using Java 21, Selenide, and JUnit 5 for React UI testing, and RestAssured for API validation.
• Integration & Backend Testing: Validate the Java mid-tier and configure Spring Boot integrations to connect with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and related Azure services.
• Compliance & Functional Coverage: Focus testing efforts on complex conflict-check rules engine and accurate jurisdictional logic.
• E2E and Security Testing: Define and execute critical End-to-End (E2E) workflow scenarios and implement security checks, including 2-Factor Authentication and geo-location-based user access validation.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage proactively with BAs/POs to ensure clarity in user stories and fit testing activities into the broader organizational timeline by participating in Scrum of Scrums with management.

Job description

A skilled QA Engineer is needed to work on the transaction management, regulation, and reporting systems for an Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) platform. The platform covers major functions including the clearing, settlement, and reporting of futures, options, and swap products. These are fully enterprise-integrated, server-side core Java systems built on in-memory and event-driven data feeds, hosted on Azure with significant use of Azure Data Factory (ADF), a Java midtier, and a React front end.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Management & Test Strategy: Take ownership of a critical release with limited runway, minimal existing test coverage, and evolving scope. Develop and execute an immediate manual Test Plan and Strategy to achieve a quality release.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead the design and development of a future-proof, modular automation framework using Java 21, Selenide, and JUnit 5 for React UI testing, and RestAssured for robust API validation.
• Integration & Backend Testing: Validate the Java mid-tier and configure Spring Boot integrations to connect with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and related Azure services.
• Compliance & Functional Coverage: Focus testing efforts on the complex conflict-check rules engine and accurate jurisdictional logic.
