Job summary

Optiveum currently seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Tester for a banking/finance client in the Mortgage domain. You will perform end-to-end testing, design and execute test cases, and manage defects in a collaborative, cross-country Agile environment.

Requirements include 10+ years in software testing with mortgage focus, strong manual testing skills, and proficiency in Polish and English. The role is hybrid with offices in Poland (Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Łódź) and remote collaboration across

Qualifications

10+ years of Software Testing experience with Mortgages domain.
Strong manual testing across Functional, System, Integration, API and PEGA.
End-to-End testing experience and test design skills.
Experience in Pega and REST API testing.
ISTQB Foundation level knowledge or certification.
Experience with test management tools (qTest, Xray, HP ALM).
Agile team experience using Jira/Confluence.
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
Able to work in an international environment.
Fluent in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

End-to-End testing of applications and mortgage domain ecosystems.
Design and execute detailed test cases and run manual tests across user workflows.
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers for fixes and retesting.
Review requirements for testability and acceptance criteria during refinements.
Verify integration points and data flow; test third-party integrations.
Collaborate with BA, developers and product owners; report progress and estimates.
Provide test status reports, metrics, and support UAT and releases.
