Job summary

Xebia is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to lead verification for migrated financial software applications. You will design and implement test strategies, build automated quality gates in an AI-assisted workflow, and collaborate with domain experts to ensure the migrated product mirrors the original behavior.

You will apply TypeScript-based automation, REST API testing, and web E2E testing with Playwright, while leveraging AI coding tools to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality engineering, incl. verification of migrations or rewrites.
• Specification-based test design and traceability (BDD/acceptance criteria).
• Proficient in TypeScript for test automation and REST API testing.

Responsibilities

• Design the verification approach for migrated applications, from test strategy to acceptance.
• Define behavioral specs and ensure traceability to the source system.
• Build automated quality gates into the AI-assisted development workflow.
